Background

This client started working with us with a healthy revenue coming from email marketing – 24%! (of the store’s revenue coming from email marketing) – which was the challenging part. How to improve something that is currently working and can you really make it better? 

Most email marketers they spoke to, said the account looks good and just send them their way. After we looked at their account, we thought differently. After our initial call we audited their Klaviyo account and saw some potential of improvement.  

We are super pumped that after 90-days of working together we did it! We brought their revenue up to 51% from email marketing. 

Here's how we did it

  • Adding more core flows to the customer journey (A thank you flow for 1st & 2nd-time customers, Win-back flow for lapsed customers, etc)
  • We asked for reviews & UGC content from our 2nd-time purchasers as they are most engaged with the brand which became our best performing emails in terms of revenue
  • We implemented more emails/touchpoints onto most of their email flows to improve conversions.
  • Tightened their segmentation to include/exclude buyers based on their buying behavior.
  • We Added Sticky Discount Links To Auto-Apply Discounts (Reduce friction)
